Job summary

Sundt Careers in Morrilton, AR is seeking a Project Superintendent II for heavy industrial projects. The role oversees field operations, safety, schedule, cost control and quality, coordinating with the Project Manager to deliver complex facilities and manage subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Must have construction project and supervision experience in similar facilities.
• Thorough knowledge of construction aspects, negotiations, cost control, scheduling and safety.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages field operations with responsibility for profitability, safety, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with the Project Manager to develop the PMP and related plans.
• Develops and implements the Project Quality Management and Safety plans.
• Provides leadership to assigned project team members and subcontractors.
• Ensures work is executed profitably and according to contract terms.
• Develops and manages the construction plan for successful execution.
• Updates and maintains the CPM Schedule and uses LEAN processes.
• Conducts weekly coordination meetings and daily field reports.
• Interacts with owners and stakeholders to maintain a positive environment and client experience.
• Reviews shop drawings, submittals, change orders and purchase orders.
• Coordinates constructability issues and clarifications with relevant personnel.
• Ensures timely completion of punch lists and startup/commissioning.
• Prevents/identifies/mitigates potential claims.
