Job summary

Sundt Construction in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Project Superintendent to plan, coordinate, and supervise field and administrative operations. You will lead safety, productivity, and profitability while coordinating subcontractors and schedules.

This role involves direct collaboration with the Project Manager to implement the PMP and lean processes for successful project execution. Ideal candidates have a four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience, and 5–10 years of supervision on

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction aspects: technology, equipment, methods, negotiations, cost control, scheduling and safety.
• Construction project and supervision experience in similar facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in review of shop drawings, submittals,変更 Orders and purchase orders.
• Collaborates with the Project Manager to develop the PMP including scope, procurement, environmental, time, financial, quality and safety plans.
• Conducts weekly coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors and prepares daily field status reports.
• Coordinates documentation of constructability issues and design clarifications with appropriate personnel.
• Develops and manages the construction plan for successful execution of the work.
• Ensures work is executed according to contract terms in a profitable manner.
• Interacts with owners, teams, and stakeholders to maintain a positive project environment and client experience.
• Manages field operations; responsible for project success including profitability, safety, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Prepares and updates the original CPM Schedule and uses LEAN processes and Weekly Work Plans.
• Prevents and mitigates claims; analyzes and resolves issues promptly.
• Leads and mentors project team and subcontractors to ensure relentless execution.
• Develops and implements Project Quality Management and Safety plans per Sundt standards.
