Job summary

HV Talent Group is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent to lead construction projects across the Chicagoland area. This hands-on role demands strong field leadership, safety focus, and the ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will lead daily jobsite operations, coordinate crews, inspect quality, manage safety, and maintain strong communication with owners, architects, and trades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive field leadership as superintendent or equivalent.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Ground-up multifamily or senior living experience preferred.
• Procore experience for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and safety.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• OSHA or construction safety certifications preferred.
• Willingness to work across Chicagoland; no out-of-state travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily jobsite operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and field personnel.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Monitor progress and address scheduling or coordination challenges.
• Ensure work complies with plans, codes, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite and enforce safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and identify quality concerns.
• Use Procore to manage documentation, daily reporting, photos, RFIs, and field communication.
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, ownership, and trade partners to resolve field issues.
• Assist with cost awareness and budget-related field decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and support field staff; promote a positive culture.
• Provide clear updates to project stakeholders.
