Job summary

HV Talent Group is actively seeking a Senior Project Superintendent to lead construction projects across the Chicagoland area, based in Northbrook. This hands‑on leadership role requires ownership of daily field operations, a relentless focus on safety and quality, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Progressive field leadership experience as a construction superintendent or similar role.
• Experience leading ground‑up commercial construction projects.
• Ground‑up multifamily residential or senior living construction experience preferred.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and jobsite safety.
• Familiarity with construction documents, plans, specifications, and field coordination; Procore experience for docs and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily jobsite operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and field personnel.
• Develop and communicate project schedules and short‑term look‑ahead plans.
• Monitor construction progress and address scheduling or coordination challenges.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite and enforce safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and identify quality concerns before they affect progress.
• Use Procore to manage project documentation, daily reporting, photos, RFIs, and field communication.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, ownership, and trade partners to resolve field issues.
• Assist with cost awareness, change management, and budget‑related field decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and support field staff while promoting a positive, accountable culture.
• Provide clear and consistent updates to project stakeholders.
