Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent to oversee large or multiple construction projects in Central, FL. This senior field leader will guide onsite operations, supervise field teams, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role emphasizes mentoring, project oversight, and coordination with clients, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors across Southeast projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 12 years construction-related or construction-management experience.
• Experience leading large, complex or multimillion-dollar projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior field leadership or Superintendent role preferred.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and mentor field leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, quality, and field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple or highly complex projects.
• Mentor and develop Project Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Foremen.
• Assist with strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Resolve complex construction issues and support field teams.
• Monitor project performance, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Support staffing decisions and leadership development initiatives.
