EHS Support is seeking a Project Scientist – Human Health Risk Assessor to join our Sediment and Risk Assessment service line. The role focuses on leading site-specific human health risk assessments for remedial investigations and working with a high-performing team of scientists and engineers.

You will mentor junior staff, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to business development while staying current with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting experience with a track record of successful project outcomes.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience in business development and client relationship building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and regulatory familiarity.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage human health risk assessments for remedial investigations under CERCLA, RCRA, and state/international programs.
• Develop site-specific exposure models to identify receptors and exposure pathways.
• Support remedial decision-making and evaluate remedial alternatives for protectiveness.
• Interface with regulators to advocate for technical findings and negotiate solutions.
• Design and oversee multidisciplinary investigations for human health risk assessments and vapor intrusion evaluations.
• Review toxicological profiles and risk dossiers following USEPA/ATSDR and OECD/REACH guidance.
