Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance efforts across federal, state, and local environmental programs and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You will assist with risk assessments, develop QA plans and sampling strategies, and contribute to client-facing meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Science with professional scientist registration/certification.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency varies by project.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Supports site investigations and interpretation of data for HRAs and ERAs.
• Contributes to data quality objectives (DQOs), QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Assists with development of CSEMs and exposure models for risk assessments.
• Collaborates with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff in the discipline.
