Job summary

Strata Careers seeks a Senior Project Scheduler to lead scheduling across multiple utility-scale solar and BESS projects with budgets from $25MM to $300MM. The role emphasizes CPM, Primavera, and cross-functional coordination on EPC execution. You will coach junior staff and interface with clients as needed.

Responsibilities include driving schedule creation, reporting, risk analysis, and process standardization within an EPC portfolio, while maintaining clear visibility into performance trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years using Primavera P6: driving meetings and live updates.
• 5+ years in EPC project scheduling, preferably solar/renewable energy.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, CPM, resource loading, activity codes, and Earned Value reporting.
• Strong understanding of EPC workflows and construction sequencing.
• Excellent communication and proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel to project sites (<5%).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross functional planning sessions with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to build schedules.
• Oversee reporting to project teams: look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts, KPI dashboards.
• Work at project and portfolio level to drive clear organization-wide reporting.
• Step into the role of any planner to identify quality issues and solutions.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis, critical path reviews, and mitigation recommendations.
• Standardize scheduling practices and reporting across EPC portfolio.
• Provide visibility into schedule status and performance trends.
• Educate non-schedulers on CPM basics and Primavera date calculations.
• Support scheduling tool coding and enterprise information.
