Job summary

SunEnergy1 in Bethel, NC seeks an Assistant Project Manager - Scheduling to support utility-scale solar, BESS, and EPC projects. You will help maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, track milestones, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and field teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 1–3 years in scheduling or project controls, strong Excel skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, engineering, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years in construction, project management, scheduling, or project controls.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
• Update schedules based on project progress and field reports.
• Track critical path activities, milestones and schedule performance.
• Identify potential delays and assist with recovery plans.
• Coordinate schedule updates with Project Managers, Construction Managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports and project status updates.
• Track engineering, procurement, permitting, equipment deliveries, and construction activities.
• Maintain project documentation and scheduling records.
• Assist with project meetings, action items, and follow-up.
• Support change management, forecasting, and project controls activities.
• Perform other project management duties as assigned.
