Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join its engineering and project controls team in Kentucky. The role develops, maintains, and manages schedules across a portfolio of capital projects, working with engineers, project managers, project controls professionals, and external engineering firms to reflect execution plans accurately.

Qualifications

5+ years of project scheduling experience.
Hands-on Primavera P6 expertise.
Experience managing schedules across multiple projects or a portfolio.
Experience with engineering, EPC, industrial, energy, manufacturing, or other capital projects.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and proactive with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, update, and monitor project schedules across multiple active projects.
Manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Support development of the overall project portfolio master schedule.
Track progress, milestones, critical activities, and key deliverables.
Identify schedule delays, risks, constraints, and potential impacts to execution.
Coordinate with engineers, PMs, EPC contractors, and external partners for updates.
Ensure teams are accountable to milestones and commitments.
Communicate schedule concerns and recommend mitigation actions.
Maintain alignment between individual schedules and portfolio master schedule.
