Job summary

Luster National is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler in Phoenix, AZ, to manage complex heavy‑civil projects such as highways, bridges, and airports. You will craft CPM schedules, incorporate procurement and external dependencies, and translate field data into clear progress updates.

Responsibilities include weekly updates, look‑aheads, risk analysis, and recovery planning. Strong experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced MS Office is required, with hands‑on leadership to mentor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on scheduling experience with large, complex heavy‑civil projects.
• Experience with full CPM baseline schedule development, resource or cost loading, and variance analysis.
• Experience preparing Time Impact Analyses and quantifying schedule risk using Monte Carlo or similar methods.
• Proficiency with industry standard software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Ability to translate scope and constraints into logic-driven, sequenced schedules.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated CPM schedules covering design through turnover.
• Collect field progress data and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and EV forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing options and recovery plans.
• Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, and long-lead procurement into the plan.
• Generate narrative reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Perform schedule-risk assessments and track mitigation actions.
• Support change orders and Time Impact Analyses tying delays to cost.
• Mentor junior schedulers and enforce schedule governance.
