Job summary

The Miller Electric Company is seeking a Sr. Project Scheduler to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will plan, schedule, and manage complex electrical construction projects using Primavera P6 and Smartsheet, coordinating with field leadership and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

You will develop WBS, perform critical path and earned value analyses, and provide detailed reports and dashboards. This role emphasizes Lean practices, mentoring, and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project scheduling for electrical or industrial projects.
• Expert-level Primavera P6; Smartsheet and planning tools preferred.
• Experience with resource loading, earned value, and forensic schedule analysis.
• Familiarity with Lean Construction practices (Last Planner System, Pull Planning).
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create WBS and define activity relationships, constraints, and milestones.
• Incorporate resource loading and costs into schedules.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks.
• Prepare schedule reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with GC and stakeholders for accurate status updates.
• Export data between Primavera P6 and Smartsheet.
• Support claims and dispute resolution with schedule documentation.
• Mentor junior schedulers and contribute to process improvements.
