Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join our commercial construction team. You will create and maintain schedules, coordinate with project teams, and monitor progress against the master plan.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years GC scheduling experience, expertise in Primavera P6/OPC (Procore a plus), and strong communication. Travel nationwide; base salary typically $90k–$110k with discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years scheduling experience with a GC.
• Experience supporting data center or mission-critical commercial projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or OPC; MS Project experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project schedules for active construction projects.
• Develop schedule structure and layout before detailed scope-based development.
• Track milestones, compare progress against plan, identify deviations.
• Coordinate sequencing, manpower timing, and major schedule milestones.
• Participate in scheduling meetings and keep updates current and accurate.
• Prepare monthly schedule reporting and project-specific updates.
• Review subcontractor schedules for alignment with the master schedule.
• Assist with 3-week look-ahead schedules for field planning.
• Travel to job sites as needed to monitor sequencing.
• Maintain records of updates and historical performance.
