AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER is hiring a Project Scheduler to coordinate team activities and support PMs. With minimal supervision, you will act as scheduler and commodity tracker for major projects, developing and maintaining complex schedules, tracking progress, and delivering status reports to senior management.

You will interface with site teams, contractors, and AEP leadership. The role requires strong scheduling techniques, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor junior schedulers

Competenze

• Education must be in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience with utility project scheduling and cost systems is preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP/CCMP are beneficial but not always required.

Mansioni

• Define activities, durations, sequences, and logic for scope plans and milestones.
• Develop integrated system schedules with resource loading and critical path methodology.
• Mentor junior schedulers and lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders.
• Communicate schedule status and risks to project teams and senior management.
• Coordinate schedule and cost integration including SPI/CPI processes.
