Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Project Scheduler (Staff/Principal) to coordinate team activities, develop integrated schedules, and support project managers across major nuclear projects in Columbus, OH. You will mentor junior schedulers, track progress, and ensure timely communication of schedule health to senior management.

The role requires robust scheduling expertise, strong communication, and ability to work with site teams, contractors, and executives within AEP governance

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling, planning, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Ability to develop and maintain complex project schedules.
• Willingness to travel and work across sites and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define activities, durations, logic for scope of work and milestones.
• Develop integrated schedules with resource loading and critical path.
• Mentor junior schedulers and conduct schedule review meetings.
• Communicate schedule status to stakeholders and manage risks.
