Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resident Project Representative to join our Building Engineering Services team in Indiana. You will help manage construction documentation, track progress, and ensure contract compliance across multidisciplinary projects.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering degree and may carry an EIT or PE. You will collaborate with contractors and clients, travel to client sites, and support project closeout with meticulous recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; team oriented.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and Primavera.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate daily records of contractor activities, labor, equipment and materials.
• Review construction materials for contract compliance and track quantities.
• Attend and chair construction progress meetings and develop project punch lists.
• Observe installation and acceptance testing of equipment and systems.
• Develop record documentation for engineer review and project closeout.
