Job summary

Johnson Controls in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Quality Project Leader to plan and manage industrial quality initiatives across multiple facilities. You will drive APQP, PPAP, and change management within ISO 9001 frameworks, leading cross‑site teams to deliver on time and within budget.

This role requires 7–10+ years in ISO/TS environments, strong leadership and communication skills, and hands‑on experience with Six Sigma and 8D problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or similar.
• 7-10+ years of quality experience in ISO/TS manufacturing.
• 5+ years of project leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and APQP techniques including PPAP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects from ideation to completion using project management methodologies.
• Define, document, and implement APQP, PPAP and change management in ISO 9001 framework.
• Lead projects at various manufacturing locations to reduce CoPQ and EPPM using 8D and Six Sigma.
• Utilize JIRA to track progress, quality resources, tasks and milestones.
• Lead and inspire project quality teams across locations.
• Conduct continuous risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate post‑project evaluations and share lessons learned across functions.
• Support communication on project successes and lessons learned.
