Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Senior Expeditor to manage procurement timelines, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials for complex projects. The role requires strong communication, vendor management, and problem-solving to keep schedules intact.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in procurement within industrial construction, excellent English, and the ability to work independently while guiding junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience.
• 5+ years procurement in industrial construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities daily.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expedites purchase orders to monitor vendor progress and ensure timely shipment of equipment/material.
• Expedites supplier engineering data and drawings per PO requirements.
• Coordinates and monitors supplier milestone activities and purchasing to meet schedule.
• Interfaces with logistics to coordinate shipment to project site safely and cost-efficiently.
• Troubleshoots PO execution issues and coordinates resolutions.
• Discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
• Coordinates with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering to ensure proper scheduling of goods.
• Accountable for the project procurement budget and impact on revenue/quality of service.
• May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
