Job summary

Voith Hydro in York, PA is hiring a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for assigned projects from handover to closeout, developing project-specific sourcing strategies and ensuring materials, equipment and services meet contractual, schedule, budget and quality targets.

In a matrix environment, you will coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Finance and Legal, manage supplier performance and risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, engineering, commerce, or related field.
• 8-12 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including project leadership.
• Experience with engineered-to-order (ETO), EPC, or hydroelectric projects.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration.
• Experience with major equipment suppliers and fabrication subcontractors.
• Experience working in matrix organizations with multiple project stakeholders.
• ERP proficiency: SAP, Oracle, IFS, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain Project Procurement Plans and schedules.
• Lead RFQs, bid packages, tender processes, and supplier/subcontractor solicitations.
• Coordinate bid evaluations with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate and execute purchase orders, subcontracts, and service contracts.
• Manage supplier performance and mitigate delivery issues.
• Monitor procurement budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with policies and audit standards.
