Job summary

Terracon seeks a senior operations leader to supervise multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client requirements and Terracon policies. The role oversees proposals, cost estimates, manpower planning, staffing, and annual business planning for the specialty service group.

You will monitor key metrics such as revenue growth, staff utilization, project billing and collections, and profitability, while promoting risk awareness, safety, and continuous quality improvement across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology) with 5 years’ practice experience.
Alternatively, 9 years’ related experience in lieu of a degree.
Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
With support from leadership, perform business and client development activities.
Develop and manage staffing plans, recruitment and onboarding.
Prepare and execute annual business plan for the specialty service group.
Oversee revenue growth, staff utilization, billing and profitability.
Develop understanding of project risk and protect the Company.
Lead safety efforts and model a safe work environment.
Provide and lead quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
Maintain consistent quality standards on delivery of projects and proposals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
