Job summary

The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead stabilization and resolution of complex benefits issues within Workday configurations, employee data, and third-party integrations, coordinating across DOAS, statewide ERP teams, payroll and finance, and benefit administrators.

You will own the issue backlog, drive root-cause analysis, test planning, changes, and executive reporting, ensuring timely closure and accountability across organizations while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years PM experience, with progression in responsibility.
• Eligible to sit for PMP certification.
• Six or more years of project management experience coordinating business processes.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and PM tools (Asana, MS Project, Jira).
• Local to Atlanta and able to come to the office occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a single authoritative backlog of benefits issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve individual issues.
• Coordinate test planning, data, and regression testing.
• Manage change-control and release-readiness activities.
• Provide executive reporting on issue aging and financial exposure.
• Track risks, decisions, and overdue actions.
