Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across Workday, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, ERP, and Vendor organizations.
• Manage complex benefits-related issues from identification through root cause analysis, testing, deployment, reconciliation, and closure.
• Coordinate Workday configuration, integrations, payroll deductions, vendor funding, employee remediation, and business process improvements.
• Drive accountability, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and provide executive-level status reporting.
• Facilitate issue triage, decision-making sessions, working groups, and executive reviews.
• Oversee testing, release management, change control, and production readiness activities.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the resolution and stabilization of complex employee benefits, payroll, and Workday-related issues for a major government client.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Must be local and able to come onsite occasionally)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across Workday, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, ERP, and Vendor organizations
• Manage complex benefits-related issues from identification through root cause analysis, testing, deployment, reconciliation, and closure
• Coordinate Workday configuration, integrations, payroll deductions, vendor funding, employee remediation, and business process improvements
• Drive accountability, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and provide executive-level status reporting
• Facilitate issue triage, decision-making sessions, working groups, and executive reviews
• Oversee testing, release management, change control, and production readiness activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of project management experience with progressive responsibility
• Eligible to sit for PMP certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP implementation experience, ideally Human Capital Management (HCM)
• Workday experience
• Government sector experience
• 6+ years of project management experience
• SDLC knowledge and experience
• Experience with Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar PM tools
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred
