Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead design, build, and improvement of distribution facilities and processes. You will coordinate with the Project Director, manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams, and travel up to 50%.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required; a Master's and PMP are preferred. The role requires 7+ years of PM experience in automation or construction and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's Degree and/or PMP certification desired.
• 7+ years of experience as a project manager, project engineer or related occupation.
• Experience managing automation or construction projects exceeding $5MM per project.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience planning and tracking projects using project management software.
• Experience developing and tracking project costs. Knowledge of warehouse operations and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop project charters outlining design and implementation requirements with the Project Director.
• Prepare capital expenditure requests for projects.
• Manage scope, vendor selection, and vendor management from RFP through final invoicing.
• Oversee onsite build or installation coordination with internal and external partners.
• Manage development and reporting of project budgets.
• Coordinate design, contractor work, testing, training, and startup activities.
• Report on timelines and project status; ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Engage external consultants and vendors; manage contracts and plans.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; located near an airport.
