Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee design, build, and optimization of distribution facilities and processes. This role reports to the Engineering Project Director and requires leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and coordinating with vendors from RFP through final invoicing.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering background, experience with automation or construction projects over $5MM, and strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's Degree and/or PMP certification desired.
• Experience managing automation or construction projects exceeding $5MM per project.

Responsibilities

• Develops project charters with the Project Director.
• Manages scope, vendor selection, and vendor management from RFP through final invoicing.
• Oversees on-site build or installation coordination with internal and external partners.
• Manages project budgets and timelines; coordinates with cross-functional teams.
• Supports supplier specs, RFPs, and contract execution; engages external consultants as needed.
• Communicates project status clearly to stakeholders and adjusts plans as required.
