Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of medium to large-scale utility infrastructure projects in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, risk, and client satisfaction while guiding project teams to successful, profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4–8 years of project management experience within utility, power delivery, energy, telecommunications, or infrastructure industries.
• Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract administration.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of utility infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and overall project performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Lead contract administration, change order management, and subcontractor coordination.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, invoicing, and cash flow management.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status reviews, and client updates.
• Ensure compliance with Pike safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and other project team members.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
