Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferably in engineering or business management.
• Minimum of 2 years of project and/or contract management experience in construction (utility preferred).
• Strong mathematical, communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals and ability to write proposals.
• Experience presenting to diverse groups and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thorough estimates and proposals for site-specific projects and master service agreements.
• Review project plans, confirm scope with the project team, and coordinate efforts.
• Participate in customer pre-bid meetings (in-person or virtual).
• Identify risk issues and quantify impact.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier information and pricing.
• Manage contract negotiations and subcontractor procurement.
• Lead contractual meetings and provide feedback to operations management.
• Support emergency and storm restoration events.
