Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in utilities, advanced PM knowledge, and proven ability to lead in a matrix organization with experience in vendor management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in the utility industry with proven Project Management experience.
• Detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals.
• Excellent written communications; ability to compose technical documents, formal letters, invoices.
• Strong oral communication; capable of presentations to diverse groups.
• High energy level; able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a bias for action.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships while navigating organizational barriers.
• Experience leading in a matrix organization and managing vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of contract pricing (Fixed Price, T&M, Cost Plus, Unit).

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring other project management professionals.
• Attracting and retaining key industry professionals.
• Managing the project per Pike Policies and Procedures.
• Overseeing client and project stakeholders; building trusted relationships.
• Negotiating contracts, managing change orders, submittals and approvals.
• Maintaining strong change control and risk management.
• Overseeing EH&S and Quality programs for the project.
• Developing thorough estimates and proposals.
• Leading project meetings and providing performance feedback.
• Producing project reporting and status updates for team, management, and client.
• Ensuring accurate project financials, with proper backups, and timely invoicing.
