Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with manufacturing or construction experience to lead turnkey projects. You will coordinate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

You will read blueprints, develop schedules and cost estimates, manage subcontractor quotes, and drive continuous improvement in project execution. This role requires strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management.
• PMI certification preferred.
• Six+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes and oversight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Global Shop Solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers as their primary contact throughout each project.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects with Miller’s management, engineering, production, and sales teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and address potential delays or issues.
• Create and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and participate in cost reviews and reduction efforts.
• Request, evaluate, and select subcontractor quotes.
• Review bid documents with the estimating team to ensure quotes are accurate and submitted on time.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for new opportunities and change orders.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure products meet customer specs and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present project updates, proposals, requirements documents, and progress reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings, applying knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management to estimate costs for non-core opportunities.
