Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing or construction. The role requires coordinating with engineering, production, and sales to deliver turnkey projects on time and within budget, while managing subcontractors and risks.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, at least six years of PM experience, and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office. PMI certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management is required.
• At least six years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on fabrication oversight and coordination with engineering/production teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience, preferably Global Shop Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, serving as their primary contact throughout each project.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects while coordinating with management, engineering, production, and sales teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and address delays or issues.
• Create and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and participate in cost reviews and reductions.
• Request, evaluate, and select subcontractor quotes.
• Review bid documents with estimating to ensure timely, accurate quotes.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for opportunities and change orders.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure products meet specifications and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present project updates, proposals, requirements documents, and progress reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings, applying fabrication knowledge.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management to estimate costs for non-core opportunities.
