Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Technical Manufacturing in Milwaukee, WI to lead multiple R&D and New Product Development initiatives from customer requirements through design, manufacturing and delivery.

You will coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to ensure on-time, within-scope execution while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Five years of end-to-end PM experience and a technical degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum five years of project management experience across NPD/R&D and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for R&D, NPD, and engineering design.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Partner with customers to gather requirements and translate them into specs.
• Monitor scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables throughout development.
• Communicate status, milestones, budget performance, risks, and actions to leadership and customers.
• Use MS Project/MPlanner to manage execution and timelines.
• Identify risks and create mitigation plans to ensure delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve execution.
• Develop and improve PM processes, docs, and best practices.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain focus on customer satisfaction while balancing technical and business objectives.
