Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Kansas City area to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate will manage structural concrete and steel erection scopes, budgets, schedules, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong experience with structural concrete and steel erection.
• Solid understanding of the construction process from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership mindset; works well with field teams and delivering quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee structural concrete and steel erection scopes, schedules, budgets, and coordination.
• Manage project budgets, contracts, schedules, change orders, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Identify and resolve project challenges while keeping jobs on schedule and within budget.
