Job summary

Kimmel Associates is seeking a Project Manager for commercial and industrial concrete construction in Kansas. You will lead planning, scheduling, safety, and field coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires deep knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, sequencing, and field operations, with a track record of managing bid-to-closeout. Bachelor's degree preferred and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial or industrial concrete construction.
• Proven track record managing projects from bid to closeout.
• Strong understanding of concrete methods, materials and sequencing.
• Experience with foundations, slabs, tilt-up, and sitework preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of concrete projects including sitework, foundations, slabs, tilt-up construction, and structural concrete components.
• Manage projects from preconstruction and bidding through completion and closeout.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and adjust resources to meet milestones.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, safety, quality and adherence to plans.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
