Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Project Manager II, Service to lead construction projects within the Reserve Power and Engineered Services team. You will coordinate workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance for projects exceeding $5 million.

Responsibilities include client meetings, preparing estimates, managing subcontractors, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality results and timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or 2 years of equivalent training
• 6-8 years of related industry/construction experience
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience
• PMP certification acquired or in process -preferred
• Knowledge of code requirements for specialty trade systems and their integration into overall facility or project plans
• Advanced proficiency/understanding of CAD drawings, Gantt charts, MS Project, Excel, and Visio
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow within the organization
• Strong verbal, telephone, and written communications skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Internet

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of multiple projects from start to finish
• Meet with customers to review project scope and timeline and create estimates and quotes
• Interface with customer, PMO, service group and other departments on schedules and standards
• Manage all service representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and contractors for quality and cost
• Write method of procedure and scope of work documents
• Approve maintenance operation procedure documents for region
• Create and transmit kickoff/closeout docs, floor plans, schematics, specs
• Collaborate with design professionals and experts to ensure timely completion
• Manage change orders and invoicing
• Communicate change orders to customer/management
• Understand and enforce EnerSys safety, quality, and processes
• Track time and expenses and report accurately
• Cultivate customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
