Job summary

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Salesforce-based government systems implementation for a large public sector client. This full-time remote role requires delivering end-to-end project governance, scheduling, vendor coordination, and Agile execution across multiple teams.

An enterprise-scale project with a $1B+ operating budget background and a strong emphasis on compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading at least one enterprise system implementation for a large government entity using Salesforce.
• Minimum experience supporting a government organization with an annual operating budget of at least $1 billion or serving 900,000+ residents.
• Minimum three years overseeing functional implementation activities (requirements, workflows, configuration, testing, acceptance).
• Experience with public-sector cannabis licensing or similar regulatory platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle: discovery, requirements validation, design, configuration, development, testing, data migration, training, deployment and stabilization.
• Establish and manage phased Agile implementation activities, sprint planning and reviews, and delivery tracking.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedule, milestones, dependencies, and deployment readiness plans.
• Coordinate functional leads, business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate licensing, permitting, inspections, enforcement and financial requirements into deliverables.
• Serve as primary point of contact with management, coordinating cross-functional teams, partners, vendors and resources.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions, scope changes, change requests and escalation procedures.
