Job summary

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Functional Lead to guide the technical architecture, design, and configuration of a large public-sector cannabis licensing platform. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on licensing, inspections, compliance, AR, and reporting.

With a strong Salesforce background and at least three years supporting government-scale projects, you will drive requirements, workflows, testing, and data migration.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years supporting a government organization with budgets similar to the stated scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and map current to future-state workflows.
• Configure licensing workflows, ownership structures, amendments, and regulatory conditions.
• Design compliance, inspections, enforcement, and related workflows.
• Develop and validate requirements, user stories, tests, and traceability.
• Define AR requirements: invoicing, payments, aging, adjustments, waivers, approvals.
• Establish duties separation, auditability, and financial controls.
• Facilitate collaboration with SMEs, licensing staff, inspectors, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Plan and coordinate UAT including scenarios, rules, and defect resolution.
• Define reporting for operational, licensing, inspections, enforcement, financial, and audit needs.
• Support training with functional docs and realistic scenarios.
