Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, MS Teams).
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with government R&D and contracting processes.
• PMP certification preferred; U.S. Citizen required.
• BS in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; 7 years PM experience; 2+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with engineering management to establish engineer workload.
• Manages complex projects from planning through delivery.
• Liaises between project members, cross functional teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Uses tools to plan timelines, milestones and deadlines; communicates changes.
• Plans and facilitates project meetings; prepares agendas and summaries.
• Monitors task status and allocates resources, budgets, and hours.
• May include business development activities with external parties, including government entities.
