Job summary

Midé Technology in Woburn, MA, seeks a Lead Project Manager to direct the project management team and partner with engineering heads to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget. The role requires coordinating workloads, schedules, and stakeholder communications across complex programs.

The ideal candidate has extensive PM experience, familiarity with government R&D, and strong leadership and communication skills. A PMP and U.S.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, MS Teams).
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with government R&D and contracting processes.
• PMP certification preferred; U.S. Citizen required.
• BS in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; 7 years PM experience; 2+ years in management.

The Lead Project Manager position will help manage the various technical projects we have as well as oversee the Project Management team. They will work closely with the technical project leads and engineering department heads on all phases of a project to ensure the success of our projects by being on time, on spec, and on budget. This position will work directly with senior management to report project status and provide recommendations on strategic decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with engineering management to establish engineer workload.
• Manages complexprojects from planning through delivery.
• Liaises between project members, cross functional teams, external vendors and other stakeholders to ensure risks, deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and meeting plans are communicated.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to planproject timelines, milestones and deadlines. Communicates schedule changes to all stakeholders.
• Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
• Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans. Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.
• Duties may include business development activities with external parties, including but not limited to US Government entities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Agile and traditional methodology

• PMP certification (preferred)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• BS Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 7 years of Project Management experience
• 2+ years managerial Experience
