This role drives project performance, manages client relationships, and ensures compliance with contract requirements and agency standards in a hybrid work setting. The Senior Project Manager reports to the Director, Utilities and will oversee budgets, schedules, and safety across multiple active projects, using

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, and logistics.
• Proficiency in cost control systems and construction management software.
• Deep understanding of public contracts, specifications, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working on public contracts (3 years).
• Experience with creating/managing schedules (3 years).
• Ability to lead multiple teams and complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple heavy civil and public infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
• Ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and contract compliance.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Monitor performance, address risks and challenges proactively.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cost-control processes.
• Manage client relationships with owners and public agencies.
• Use InEight to manage production and budget effectively.
