Job summary

Muller Inc is seeking a Project Manager, Public Opportunities to lead the delivery of large-scale heavy civil and public infrastructure projects in Reston. Hybrid work arrangement with general oversight of multiple projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and contract compliance.

You will manage planning, tracking, and cost control while coordinating with owners, municipalities, and public agencies to ensure successful outcomes and opportunities for repeat work.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, and logistics.
• Experience with public contracts and compliance requirements.
• Experience with creating/managing schedules (1-3 years).
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of multiple heavy civil construction projects including roadway, utilities, stormwater, grading, and site development.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation efforts.
• Monitor project performance and address risks and challenges.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes.
• Ensure accurate billing and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Interpret and manage contracts, plans, specifications, and public agency requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, municipalities, and public agencies.
• Build and maintain client relationships to support repeat work.
