Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Manager for our Process Operations team in the United States. You will lead single and multi-discipline engineering, design and architectural teams from scope development through full design packages and project execution.

Responsibilities include budgeting, schedule control, change management, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, prepare proposals, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent experience.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
• At least 5 years in design/construction with 2+ years in Project Management.
• Ability to manage the financial aspects of a project.

Responsibilities

• Defines project scope with Discipline Captains and Managers; plans work, design direction, tasks and resources.
• Identifies client requirements and communicates to each discipline.
• Prepares project budget and schedule as performance metrics.
• Prepares fee proposals and ensures timetable adherence and financial success.
• Develops project plan, controls procedures, monitors progress and takes corrective action.
• Manages document control, cost estimating, and paper flow with client and contractors.
• Coordinates meetings and external consultants; travels to client sites as required.
• Supports client billing and may mentor Assistant Project Managers.
