Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Manager for our Process Operations team to lead multi-discipline engineering, design and architectural teams on projects from scope development through complete design packages and execution.

The role emphasizes managing budgets, schedules, client communications, and coordinating with discipline captains. Travel to client sites is required, and CAM/PMP certification is preferred for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent
• CAPM or PMP Certification preferred
• 5+ years in design/construction; 2+ years in Project Management

Responsibilities

• Establishes project scope with discipline captains and managers
• Communicates client requirements to each discipline
• Prepares project budget and schedule as performance benchmarks
• Prepares fee proposals
• Manages timetable and project change orders
• Develops project plan and control procedures
• Administers project documents, cost estimating and correspondence
• Coordinates with clients, contractors and regulators
• Supports business development and client contact
• Travel to other SSOE facilities and client sites as needed
