Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Manager for the Process Operations team to lead single and multi-discipline engineering, design and architectural projects from scope through design and execution. You will coordinate with discipline captains and department managers to plan work, budgets and schedules, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for leading-edge clients.

The role requires 5 years in design/construction with at least 2 years in project management, with CAPM or PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• CAPM or PMP Certification preferred.
• 5+ years in design/construction with 2+ years in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope with discipline captains and managers.
• Coordinate client requirements to disciplines.
• Prepare project budgets and schedules as progress benchmarks.
• Develop fee proposals and manage timetable and change orders.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions, and ensure financial success.
• Lead project plans and document control.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, contractors and regulators.
• Assist in mentoring Assistant Project Managers.
• Travel to other facilities and client sites as needed.
