Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Substation in the United States. The role oversees electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment while meeting client expectations and safety standards.

Responsibilities include contract management, site audits, and regular reporting to senior management. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in construction PM with electrical experience are required, with growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or relevant experience in the electrical field.
• 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Experience budgeting, contract management, cost control, scheduling, and electrical utilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project plans, including defining scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee the installation of electrical utilities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may impact the project timeline or budget.
