Job summary

Net Power, an energy technology company in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Project Manager – Power Generation to lead owner-side execution of utility-scale projects. You will integrate late-stage development through COD, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and finance with a focus on safety, schedule, and cost.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in utility-scale PM, IPP experience, FEED/FID exposure, and strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in utility-scale power generation, including owner/developer-side IPP exposure.
• Experience delivering large-scale power projects through FEED/FID, EPC, commissioning, and COD.
• Strong governance, risk, schedule, cost management, and executive reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as owner’s Project Manager for utility-scale power generation projects from development to COD and turnover.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations.
• Maintain project execution plan, schedule, cost control, risk management, and major contract administration.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineering firms, utilities, and lenders; ensure alignment with procurement priorities.
• Provide concise project reporting to senior leadership on safety, schedule, cost, and decisions.
