Net Power, LLC in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead development, engineering, and execution of utility-scale power projects. You will coordinate across disciplines and serve as the owner’s technical interface with developers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and suppliers to deliver safe, reliable assets.

The role requires IPP background and end-to-end project experience, translating technology into constructible, economical plant designs.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, or other relevant engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, or closely related industrial projects.
• Direct IPP experience is required.
• Experience as owner’s engineer or project engineer on major capital projects.
• Experience with utility-scale power generation project development and/or execution.

Mansioni

• Serve as owner’s project engineer for development and execution of utility-scale power generation projects.
• Coordinate technical activities across engineering disciplines and interfaces.
• Act as primary technical interface among Net Power, project developers, EPC contractors, engineering firms, OEMs, suppliers, and utilities.
• Support full lifecycle from development to turnover to operations.
• Establish and manage technical requirements, design criteria, and deliverables.
• Review drawings, specifications, and data sheets from owner’s perspective.
• Identify risks, gaps, and constructability concerns early.
• Lead design reviews, HAZOPs, and project readiness reviews.
• Support equipment and contractor selection through specs and bids.
• Collaborate with project controls on progress, schedule, and costs.
• Evaluate design changes for technical and commercial impact.
• Contribute to EPC agreements, equipment contracts, and interconnection requirements.
