Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Project Development Senior Project Manager to join our Michigan-based Power Generation team. As a seller-doer, you will develop strategies, manage client relationships, and lead multi-discipline teams to deliver power projects from pre-positioning through completion.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, a BS in Engineering, at least 10 years in project management, and strong communication, leadership, and business development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; professional engineering license required.
• Minimum 10 years related experience with 5+ years project management.
• Strong leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships.
• Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
• Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered.
• Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities.
• Provide regular communication and coordination within the project team and with the client such that the project work plan and the client’s expectations on deliverables are understood and aligned.
