Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Miami, FL seeks a Senior Project Manager - Ports & Maritime to lead planning, design, and delivery of complex port, maritime and waterfront projects across North America. You will advise port authorities, terminal operators, and agencies while guiding multidisciplinary teams through all phases of execution.

The role blends project management, technical leadership, client relationship management, and business development to grow client portfolios and project impact in the ports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in ports, maritime, waterfront, transportation, or related infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or relevant professional certification.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary projects and teams.
• Proven client-facing and project delivery experience.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of complex port, maritime, and waterfront infrastructure projects.
• Serve as primary client liaison to port authorities, maritime agencies, and private clients.
• Manage project financial performance including forecasting and risk management.
• Lead or support business development, RFQs, and strategic pursuits.
• Mentor and develop project teams across engineers, planners, and construction staff.
