AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Ports & Marine Structural Engineer/Project Manager to lead planning, analysis, and design for major ports and waterfront facilities. Opportunities span Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Melbourne, Tampa, FL, or Houston, TX, with a focus on docks, piers, bulkheads, mooring dolphins, and related structures.

You will supervise construction documentation, coordinate with designers and clients, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 6+ years of deepwater marine and waterfront infrastructure design experience.
• Experience with UFC, PIANC and ASCE/COPRI waterfront design codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural design for concrete, steel, and timber; familiarity with finite element tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, analysis, and design for ports, marine and coastal structures including docks, piers, wharves, bulkheads, mooring dolphins, trestles, and shoreside platforms.
• Supervise development of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and deliverables alignment with codes and standards.
• Perform field observations, prepare reports and permit materials, and support business development.
