Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Ports & Marine Terminals to lead pursuit and delivery of port infrastructure projects in the San Pedro Basin. You will build client relationships, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff across a growing regional team.

You will lead client meetings, coordinate with agencies and subconsultants, and provide technical leadership for marine structures and terminal planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of port planning/engineering experience with marine or coastal work.
• Bachelor’s degree in planning, environmental science, or engineering.
• Preferred PE licensure in CA or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong client relations, leadership, and business development skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and QA/QC reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of port infrastructure projects, managing scope, schedule and budgets.
• Meet with clients, coordinate with agencies, and guide technical delivery.
• Oversee multiple projects as PM/Technical Lead, mentoring junior staff.
• Develop proposals, graphics, and documentation for bids and client meetings.
• Coordinate project teams, subconsultants, and internal disciplines.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Lead client meetings and drive business development in the region.
• Support staff recruitment and professional development.
