Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Senior Principal, Ports & Marine Terminals to lead and oversee design and delivery of projects across North America, with a focus on growing the Texas practice from Houston. The role requires managing a team of planners, engineers, and technologists through all lifecycle phases, from planning through operation, to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license in Texas.
• 15+ years of progressive ports & marine civil and structural engineering and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for PMT teams across North America.
• Lead development of proposals for port development projects.
• Develop project work plans and oversee project team execution.
• Lead project coordination meetings and serve as primary contact with owners/clients.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and multiple projects.
